Depression

Depression IOP by video, five evenings a week.

A virtual IOP for depression built for adults who work. Groups run Monday to Friday, 5:30 to 8:30 PM Pacific. Fifteen group hours a week plus a weekly individual session.

The level of care

More than weekly therapy. Less than inpatient.

An intensive outpatient program sits between weekly therapy and a hospital bed. Fifteen group hours a week, plus one individual session. You sleep at home and keep working. The clinical screen decides whether this is the right level of care for you.

Where we treat it

Two different programs.

New York and New Jersey

Mental health IOP. Depression treated on its own, with clinicians licensed in your state.

California

Substance use and co-occurring mental health, treated together. California DHCS certification 191663AP: outpatient at ASAM 1.0, IOP at ASAM 2.1, and ambulatory withdrawal management.

The week

Evenings, so the day stays yours.

Groups

Monday to Friday, 5:30 to 8:30 PM Pacific. Fifteen group hours a week, by secure video.

One on one

A weekly individual session with your clinician. Optional in-person intensives in California.

Cost

The number in writing, before you start.

We are out of network with commercial PPO plans. We read your plan the same business day. The cost estimate comes in writing before your first session. We do not take Medicaid or Medicare today.

In the room

Licensed clinicians, small evening groups.

The therapy

CBT, behavioural activation and relapse prevention, run by licensed clinicians. Skills you use the next morning, not theory.

The people

Working adults. The same cohort five evenings a week, so you are not reintroducing yourself every session.

Questions

What people ask first.

Do I need an IOP for depression, or is therapy enough?

Weekly therapy carries a lot of people. An IOP is for when that has not been enough, or when symptoms break work and sleep. The clinical screen decides the level of care.

Can I keep my own therapist?

Yes. Tell us on the screen. With your written consent we coordinate with your clinician so nothing gets duplicated.

What about my medication?

Our medical director, Charles Carpenter, MD, reviews what you already take and coordinates with your prescriber. We do not change a medication on our own.

Can I do this while working full time?

That is what the 5:30 PM Pacific start is for. Groups run after the workday, Monday to Friday.

How fast can I start?

Benefits checked the same business day. Intake is usually the next business day.

Is it private?

Yes. 42 CFR Part 2 protects substance use treatment records, and nothing is shared without your written consent.

The next step

A two-minute benefit check. No commitment.

Verify your benefits, same business day.

Send us the carrier on your card and we tell you what the plan actually covers before you commit. Call anytime and leave a message. We return calls the same business day.
